These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The Rising Self website and your purchase or use of coaching, mentorship, wellness, educational, digital, and related services offered by The Rising Self ("Services"). By accessing this website, purchasing a Service, scheduling an appointment, or participating in a program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase or participate in Services unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
By using this website or purchasing Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Nature of Services
The Rising Self provides coaching, mentorship, wellness education, personal-development support, psychedelic preparation and integration support, somatic and mindfulness-based practices, and related educational services.
Services are intended to support personal reflection, education, preparation, integration, self-awareness, and personal development.
The Rising Self does not provide medical treatment, psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy, psychological diagnosis, medical diagnosis, legal advice, or other licensed professional services unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Additional information regarding the nature and limitations of the Services is contained in the Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
3. Client Responsibility
You understand that coaching and mentorship are collaborative processes and that outcomes depend on many factors, including your own participation, circumstances, decisions, and actions. You remain solely responsible for your choices, actions, health decisions, relationships, finances, and personal or professional decisions.
No particular result or outcome is promised or guaranteed.
4. Health and Safety
You are responsible for determining whether participation in any Service or suggested practice is appropriate for you.
You should consult an appropriately licensed healthcare professional before making changes involving medications, medical treatment, mental-health treatment, diet, exercise, supplements, or other matters affecting your health.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact emergency services or an appropriate licensed healthcare provider. The Rising Self does not provide emergency or crisis services.
5. Psychedelic Preparation and Integration
Any psychedelic preparation or integration services offered by The Rising Self are educational and supportive in nature.
The Rising Self does not prescribe, provide, sell, dispense, administer, recommend the unlawful use of, or facilitate the acquisition of controlled substances through its coaching services.
Preparation and integration services are not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or substance-use treatment.
Clients are solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
6. Scheduling, Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Prices and payment terms are displayed at the time of booking or purchase.
By submitting payment, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide.
Appointments, cancellations, rescheduling, packages, refunds, and related matters are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy published on this website, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Packages and Programs
Where Services are purchased as a package or program, sessions must be used within the period specified at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The purchase of a package does not guarantee any particular result or outcome.
8. Client Conduct
The Rising Self reserves the right to discontinue Services when reasonably necessary because of inappropriate, abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, unsafe, or disruptive behavior; repeated violation of boundaries; nonpayment; or circumstances in which continuing the coaching relationship is no longer appropriate.
Any refund or credit in such circumstances will be determined in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
9. Confidentiality
Information shared during private coaching or mentorship sessions will generally be treated as confidential and will not intentionally be disclosed to third parties without your permission except where disclosure is required by law, reasonably necessary to protect against a serious and imminent safety concern, necessary to obtain professional or legal advice regarding the operation of the business, or otherwise permitted under these Terms.
You acknowledge that coaching relationships generally do not carry the same legally protected privilege that may apply to communications with certain licensed healthcare or legal professionals.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all website content and materials provided through the Services—including written materials, exercises, worksheets, videos, recordings, graphics, frameworks, program materials, and other original content—are owned by or licensed to The Rising Self and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, share, modify, create derivative commercial products from, or otherwise commercially exploit these materials without prior written permission.
11. Recording
Sessions may not be audio-recorded, video-recorded, photographed, transcribed using automated or artificial-intelligence tools, or otherwise captured without prior consent.
If The Rising Self wishes to record a session, your permission will be obtained beforehand.
12. Testimonials
Testimonials and client experiences displayed on this website represent individual experiences and are not guarantees that current or future clients will achieve the same or similar results.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
This website may contain links to third-party websites, software, payment processors, scheduling platforms, resources, or services.
The Rising Self does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, security, or policies of third parties.
14. No Guarantees
The Rising Self makes no guarantee regarding any particular personal, emotional, spiritual, health, relationship, financial, career, or other outcome from participating in Services.
Any examples, testimonials, or descriptions of potential benefits are illustrative only and should not be interpreted as promises of results.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Rising Self and its owner(s), employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of this website or participation in the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of The Rising Self arising from a particular Service will not exceed the amount actually paid by you to The Rising Self for the Service giving rise to the claim.

If a separately signed service agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the signed agreement will control to the extent of that conflict.
